Project:
Belvedere House, Booth Street, Manchester
Scope of Works:
These works comprised of the complete strip out of the reception area of the building that was completed over two consecutive weekends, to have no impact on the reception area throughout the normal working week.
Our works included removal of ceramic floor tiles and screed throughout the reception area and circulation area up to and including the lift lobby. Our works also included the partial removal of the ceilings, both suspended and plasterboard, removal of full height steel reinforced light wall displaying tenants and the glass façade to the lift walls.
All materials that were dismantled and broken up as part of these works needed to be loaded directly into the awaiting waste vehicle parked in the loading bay adjacent the site entrance because the reception area was to remain obstruction free for when staff arrived on Monday morning.
All breakers, saws etc was fitted with direct vacuum attachment to give us local exhaust ventilation. Air cubes will also present to help manage the dust arising from the works.
Works were carried out working 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday over the two weekend period with an average of 10-12 men on site at all times.
