Scope of Works:

We were appointed by BSH Remediation to carefully remove and dispose of all asbestos corrugated sheeting fixed to roofs and walls of buildings that were to be demolished as part of their main redevelopment works.

 

All our works were completed in line with the NNNL notification to the HSE and all necessary control measures were in place throughout the works.

 

The majority of materials were removed by suitably trained personnel working with MEWPS however some of the buildings were in restricted areas and minimal height restrictions leading to these works being carried out on delta deck access platforms.  All materials were removed by hand method having first cut the steel fixings that fixed the sheets in position.

 

Works were carried out over a two period with an average of 8 men on site at all times. 

 

All waste was disposed of at a registered landfill facility.

 

All works were completed working from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.
