Asbestos Removals Demolition and Clearance Works

Scope of Works:

We were engaged by Henderson Homes Limited to carry out the Asbestos Removals, Demolition and Site Clearance of the former 5 Bedroom Detached residential dwelling located on a private road, in Cheshire.

 

Site constraints included a neighbouring property within close proximity and a restricted driveway.

 

Following service disconnection works the asbestos removals were completed ahead of the erection of scaffolding to the gable end closest to the neighbouring property.  The property underwent a full internal soft strip to remove all fixtures and fittings, furniture, wall ceiling and floor finishes together with all non-loadbearing walls.

 

Hand demolitions were carried out to remove a section of the roof and the high-level brickwork of the property to remove the risk of a potential collapse onto the neighbouring land.

 

The remainder of the building was demolished by use of a demolition type excavator fitted with a selector grapple attachment that was utilised to process the materials.  All materials associated with the demolitions were removed from the site.

 

All works on site were completed within 4 weeks of commencement.
