Project:

London Road Fire Station Phase 1A Soft Strip

Scope of Works:

We were engaged by Allied London to carry out the careful removal and disposal of redundant mechanical and electrical installations that have no use in the development going forward.

We also carefully removed items of architectural importance that were photographed, then catalogued and stored on site for re-use by the client in the redevelopment of this majestical Grade II building located adjacent Piccadilly Rail Station in Manchester.

Together with the mechanical and electrical items that were removed for disposal, we also carefully removed items of joinery, shelving and kitchens that had no architectural significance

All items were removed by use of hand tools to remove the original fixings so as to damage the substrate and brickwork.

Our works also included a full environmental clean to areas of the building that had suffered with bird infestation.

Works were carried out over a 12 week period with an average of 12-14 men on site at all times.
