Project:

Concrete Plinth Removal Level 8-1 inclusive.

Scope of Works:

We were engaged by ARJ Construction to carry out the careful removal of a concrete reinforced plinth that formed part of the external façade structure.

 

The removal of the concrete plinth was to facilitate landing points for the goods hoist to enable the placing of new materials associated with the construction works on each available floor plate.

 

The works were carried out by use of a track mounted wall saw that cut the concrete plinths into manageable sizes to enable them to be transferred to ground level and disposed of, once the hoist has been installed.

 

The works were completed on site over a six day period.

 

All concrete will be loaded into skips and transported off site where it will be fully recycled.

 

Works were carried out over a 6 day period with an average of 3 men on site at all times.
